US Creators Can Now Sell Directly on Mobile Through ÍâÍø½ûÇøâ€™s Branded Mobile App
On April 30, a U.S. federal judge that Apple must stop restricting U.S. app developers, including creators, from using alternative purchasing methods beyond Apple’s restrictive in-app purchase system. As a result, creators can now directly sell digital goods and services—such as memberships, courses, communities, newsletters, coaching, and podcasts—to customers through their mobile apps.
This ruling marks a significant advancement for creators, particularly those using ÍâÍø½ûÇøâ€™s Branded Mobile App. ÍâÍø½ûÇø has already updated our Branded Mobile App to enable creators to:
- Clearly display product pricing within their app
- Provide seamless external links for direct product purchases
- Offer digital products with flexible payment options, including one-time payments, subscriptions, and installment plans
- Accept multiple payment methods, such as credit and debit cards, as well as buy-now-pay-later options
